MISSION
ActsOne8 Ministries exists to walk alongside village communities to empower and make disciples.
VISION
To see communities transformed by the Gospel and improve livelihoods through empowerment.
WHO WE ARE
ActsOne8 Ministries is an interdenominational, nonprofit organization focused on sharing the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and making disciples in the remote areas of Uganda and wherever God leads us.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
- The Holy Trinity; God the Father, the Son and the Spirit (1 Cor 8:6, 2 Cor 13:14)
- The authority of the Word of God as inspired by the Holy Spirit (2Tim 3:16, Heb 4:12, Matt 7:24, Matt 4:4, John 1:1)
- Eternal life only through Jesus Christ (John 3:16, John 14:6, Eph 2:8-9)
- Spiritual Gifts (1Cor 12:4-11, Rom 12:6, Gal 5:22-23, Eph 4:7-12)
- Heaven and Hell (Rev 21:8, Matt 25:46, Rev 20:15, Rom 6:23)
OUR MINISTRY GOALS
Church Planting and Discipleship
As commissioned by God in Matthew 28:19, our utmost desire is to be used by God to establish a body of strong believers who are diligent in the study of God’s word and will lead and serve the local community faithfully.
Transformation of Lives Through God’s Word
Teaching the Word of God to influence Christ centered lifestyles over traditional practices that are mostly governed by fear and intimidation. We know that the Word of God in it’s power will set captives free, give sight to the blind and bring hope and deliverance to this dry land.
Unity in the Body of Christ
To bridge the gap in the Church that has been created as a result of differences in doctrinal belief systems. God’s Word in so many ways has been misguided and misinterpreted for different reasons. This can be brought to an end if church leaders team up to cipher the truth strictly according to God’s Word.
Improving Livelihood
Equipping the local community with life skills and knowledge on proper management and utilization of the resources that God has blessed them with so as to improve on the standards of living.
